But you have to understand that being a health blog is so much more than reblogging pictures of fruits and veggies and encouraging messages to eat right & exercise.
I am a health blog. Mental health, spiritual health, physical health, emotional health, social health and environmental health. You know what that means? Sometimes I reblog pictures of waffles drowned in syrup because “health” isn’t always eating 100% perfectly 100% of the time — it’s about being happy, knowing your limits, making peace with yourself and the world around you. And quite frankly, sometimes I really want to make peace with some fuckin waffles.
When I stopped to think about it, I don’t really understand why everyone tells you to drink water all the time.
I mean… shouldn’t your body know when you’re thirsty and when you need water? I know from personal experience with my dad, who got diagnosed with severe kidney disease, that drinking too much water is waaaaay bad for your kidneys. And… just…. idk I guess I don’t get why all fitspos are like 8+ glasses of water a day or die. Would someone more trained in health and diet care to add their thoughts?
